Repeats for supplementary exams
The Vienna Merkblatt allows four repeats of a failed exam, giving five attempts. An additional attempt may be possible only for the final exam of the programme after the last failed repeat. Exhausting all permitted attempts ends admission and excludes readmission. Confirm your individual attempt with the study department.
General SIP guidance describes commission repeats and an oral part for certain final attempts in a regular degree programme. This does not confirm how nostrification applicants are assessed. Confirm your attempt using the current announcement and the study department.
The current official registration form marks attempts four and five as commission attempts. It does not specify oral questions or a procedure. Check the announcement for the arrangements.
