Where basic equivalence is established, Rezeptierkunde and legal medicine are prescribed regardless of the test result. A rejected application does not lead to supplementary exams. Your Bescheid identifies the required parts.
According to the candidate announcement for the sitting on 1 October 2026, Rezeptierkunde is a written exam with 30 one-best-answer questions. Each question has five options with exactly one best answer. A correct answer scores one point and wrong answers cost nothing. The exam lasts one hour: 45 minutes for the questions and 15 minutes to transfer answers to the answer sheet. The content comes from blocks 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 18, 19 and 21 (overview of 13 September 2018). Check the announcement for your own sitting before relying on this.

According to the announcement for the sitting on 1 October 2026, late arrivals can only work until the regular end of the exam. Bring two soft pencils, an eraser and your student ID. A calculator without text memory is allowed. Foreign-language dictionaries and translation devices are not allowed; phones and electronic devices must be switched off and stored before the exam. Using unauthorised aids means the exam is not graded and still counts as an attempt.

The Vienna semester calendar requires withdrawal through the muw email route at least three working days before the exam, or by exam day for illness. Late withdrawal triggers the statutory block; this calendar does not state its length. Check the current announcement for additional instructions.
A failed supplementary exam may be repeated four times, giving five attempts in total. The Merkblatt allows a further attempt under its conditions for the final exam of the programme. Exhausting the permitted attempts ends admission and excludes readmission.
Innsbruck requires three written prescriptions followed by oral explanation. The examiner supplies the study script and agrees the date with the candidate. This differs from Vienna MC.
