Format, scoring and rules for university nostrification exams. Each statement has a source and review date. Unconfirmed details stay visibly unconfirmed.
The test covers ten fields: internal medicine, surgery and paediatrics have 30 questions each; neurology, gynaecology, dermatology and emergency medicine have 25 each; ENT, psychiatry and ophthalmology have 20 each. These add up to 250 questions, not exclusively MC items.
A field is positive with at least 60 percent of its questions correct. Where basic comparability is established, six or more positive fields lead to supplementary exams in the negative fields; five or fewer lead to regular-curriculum exams. Scientific work may also be required.
The official calendar states that the listed 2027 sittings are electronic. Venues rotate between Innsbruck, Vienna and Graz. Register at the university where you filed. Published deadlines have different types and publishers; do not choose solely by the test venue.
The Innsbruck guide describes MC and Weil items with one best answer from four or five choices: two points when correct, otherwise zero. It also covers matching, gap text, image tasks, free text and key-feature tasks. Partial credit and some deductions depend on the item type. Whether a Pick-N rule applies is not confirmed here.

The Innsbruck guide says duration depends on question count. It gives no fixed duration for the 2027 sittings. The calendar confirms electronic delivery in 2027, but not an identical mix of tasks at each venue.
The Innsbruck guide says location and admission time are sent after registration closes. Candidates arriving after admission closes are not admitted. Check the current invitation; this Innsbruck rule does not confirm the rule for Vienna or Graz.
This review does not confirm a current withdrawal deadline or the specific consequence of absence for these sittings. Ask your filing university; do not automatically equate absence with a negative test result.
The Vienna Merkblatt permits language dictionaries, but no medical dictionaries or electronic aids. The Innsbruck guide permits foreign-language dictionaries as books for candidates whose native language is not German. Check your venue invitation.
MedPrüf provides timed MC practice with all-or-nothing grading. The simulator does not reproduce Innsbruck matching tasks, free text, item-specific partial credit or deductions. There is no partial-credit switch. Its four-hour practice timer is not a confirmed Stichprobentest duration.

Each card has its own source date. Sittings and deadlines come from the official calendar; older formats are not automatically applied to new sittings.
